It took a little longer than I thought but the wings are all rebuilt and covered. Just need to install the servos and check the balance and then see how it flies.

Flying buddy ripped the nose off of his Veloxity, was to frustrated to give it any lovin’. I copied a new motor mount for him and gave it some teeth.

Ok gentlemen try to help a young person in the hobby he a OS46 but no carburetor for it if one of you guys have a spare that will not be used I can put it to good use. I cannot help him nothing that size.

Today at work we came across a swarm of bees hanging out in a tree. Lucky for my coworker who keeps bees. He didn’t have any of the stuff he would need so he improvised. Just a random scrap box, the first roll of tape he could find, and a pair of cable cutters. Literally cut the branch, placed it in the box, and loaded them up in the back seat of his car. They seem happy in their new home now. Pretty cool to watch this happen.

Very cool. Same thing happened at my wife’s school a couple years ago. Had a big swarm in one of the trees and just so happened that the janitor was also a bee keeper. So he just took them home.

You are right the price is stupid I have seen almost new engines sell for that. That is why I was asking if someone has some thing laying around. FX and AX will fit the same engine. The LA is a different engine. I was hoping someone had an old seized or exploded one just laying around in scrap box that the carburetor could be salvaged.
