Spent some time on the GP Revolver. Setting up the plane to glue in the stabilizer. So borrowed my buddy’s fancy Laser beam contraption it is very special unit with all kinds of adjustments. The first thing never check an ARF with Laser beam you will be disappointed they are not built very accurately, not the first time I have run into this. Just make the best of what is possible and glue everything thing into place.
Will have wait for the postman now for some parts, then I will continue to build the Revolver.

Got rid of the gap took it took a bit of work but I just cannot stand big or angled gaps between the spinner and cowl. So added 6 mm of balsa to the cowl and then sanded it parallel to the spinner. It will look okay once it is finish sanded and painted.

Cut a hole into the bottom of the fuselage so that I can add in some louvers to extract the hot air from the engine out through the bottom of the fuselage. Hopefully this will be good enough so that I do not need to cut an opening in the cowl. Just need to clean it up and do a little painting and it should look ok.

Few more odds and ends to complete, but we're almost there. Waiting on a nice JTEC wrap around muffler.

Almost pulled the trigger on this guy a year ago, decided to go a bit bigger. Holy wrinkles batman on the turtle deck! Got a bit of ironing to do. They sure do make a good airframe over at AJ.

Played with a few recently acquired tools. Amazing how the right one makes the job so much easier!

With the high quality jig from Desert Aircraft, I finally drilled the propeller and spinner which came from @stangflyer a while ago.

With the #196 Dremel cutter, I carved the damaged wood off the wingtip - piece of cake!

Well sitting in my work shop and knowing that I do not have a project for the coming winter. Still have to do a lot of cleanup on my all my summer planes and probably some small fix ups and replacement of parts. Check all the batteries and put them away for storage.
But still cannot come up with something that gets me excited, have enough 3D planes been into to it steady for 3 years and have enough planes for another two to three years. Thinking of a war bird but the thought of retracts just does not turn me on. They are an endless pain in the *** , no matter how much money and time you spend on them. Looking at the JTEC Taylorcraft nice plane and looks like a great flyer and a good size. But you have buy everything piece meal, and source parts from everywhere. When you have to do that it gets expensive and time consuming, the Viper I build was the same way sat on the plane for 9 months trying to get the correct wing tube and sleeves that would fit the plane.
