Another big milestone. Finally figured out all my geometry and screwed down the float fittings. I’ll need to take them off to install the wheel collars. Only thing I’m not liking is my CG is a little close to the skeg… well and that empty (no battery, water rudder stuff and esc) the plane is 7.75#

My finger tips were in pain from an Allen wrench… then I remembered I got this dremel tool a a few months ago… and I’m started to like it a lot for small screws/little jobs.

pressure sensitive. So when you push down it will go in the direction you have it set in.

Or just push the button

it also has a clutch so it won’t over torque

Well after a long time and more money than I will ever admit to the delta Twin is ready to fly again. Setup the radio and the motors and all looks good. To get the CG correct that took some work had make new brackets to mount the two radio batteries up in the front with the nose gear, and cut out all the lead out of the trailing edge of the wing.
Now all I need is some nice weather and very little wind to try it out. And most of all the guts to fly it.

@BalsaDust HAPPY BIRTHDAY. Hope you have a good day.

Been looking for something new for the past months. Keep looking at buying a Quicky 500 and Jett motor. Just for a change and keep me interested and learn something new. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Started yesterday afternoon with what I thought would be a simple repair to patch the elevator covering. Wound up stripping the entire stab and elevator.

Two hours later…
At least Sheldon kept me company while I took over the upstairs for my workshop.

Didn’t have any blue Ultracote so this will have to do for today’s flying.

Weather was rainy today, so I played in the shop for a bit.
Always hated the thought of butchering the fuselage to mount the large PowerBox SensorSwitch, so I finally purchased a MagSensor switch earlier this week.
Targets mount on the outside of the fuselage. Hovering over one of the targets turns one of the circuits on or off. Repeat for the second target and second circuit.
