The 'What did you do in your workshop tonight?' thread

No work in my shop last night. On my may home from work I saw a guy pointing a gun at another guy about 2 blocks from my house. I called 911 and ended up talking to the law for awhile. After that I didn't feel like going down to the shop. I'll say one thing, the cops were there so fast I was amazed, and in force.

There are a group of about six duplexes in that part of the subdivision. If you ever see cops in the neighborhood, that's where they are. Never live near rental property.

Just got the tracking number last night. Doesn't show anything yet so not sure.

We have our neighbors directly to the south of us that are always causing a ruckus. They have a couple of V8 jet boats with open headers that point directly at my house and they USED to like to fire them up right about 9:30-10pm and rev the snot out of them. Always getting so hammered they stumble around, one time they were shouting threats over the fence at us even though we didn't do anything but peek over the fence to see what was going on from all the noise.

We keep a very close eye on them...

40 degrees and windy for the next week. I did an annual inspection on my Aero-works GT and found 5 out of 7 elevator hinges broken. This airplane is almost 2 years old and easily has over 1000 flights on it. Needless to say my PAU SU-26 assembly has to stop. I'll be re-hinging the elevator on the GT this weekend.
