Oh, man. Put an OS46AX with a Macs pipe and let it breathe. Years ago I had a LA Racer with a 46/pipe and my buddy had a Super Sportster with a 46/pipe. We would race about 4 ft off the ground and then break out and chase each other through Immelmans and Split-es. Sooooooo much fun and lost a few air frames. We called it the Rabbit Run because he got too low and cartwheeled spooking a big rabbit out of some tall grass.

Funny you say that as I have an extra 46ax Macs header and a DTC for it.

Tell me about it! I am hoping to have either the Edge or the LX running before Saturday so I can get some more practice in. The roller at the end of the sequence is killing me! The rest of it is just getting used to multiple items in one maneuver

I've only gone through the first three figures and then only a couple of times. I think Cam's been hitting it pretty hard even with building a plane. Evidently he doesn't sleep.

Been a busy week. Can't wait to get back in the workshop soon. The Storch has been calling my name. I think it talks to me in my sleep.....

Got rid of the stock wheel collars and put on the old reliable DuBro.....Fixed the tail wheel tiller and cleaned up the bottom.

Ready for Saturday!



Got to get that purple things cowl off and EME 60 off the nose for a rebuild. Will get new bearings, crank(with IKO rod ends), Piston and Bowman ring and gasket set.

I had a productive evening tonight working on the Viper. Got the belly pan mounted. Then I got the wings ready to sheet. Routed in all four of the spars, and glued on the unidirectional carbon fiber. Those downdraft tables sure are nice when routing foam!
