I think I have discovered some thing "Do NOT go to your LHS " when you have kind of finished off a plane". While in the LHS I met the owner cleaning up he is not there very often because his 2 sone run the store now and he is semi retired. He picked this kit and we both looked at and I said that is one nice kit and the designer is one of the best, he looked at me said do you want it, give you a great deal . I said no I have enough right now. He looked at me and said a price. Well the rest is history.

Of course you do realize that an assembly thread is a requirement;) - especially for that particular design!

Tonight I spent some time getting two airframes ready to leave to a new owner tomorrow. I'll miss the Carf Extra 330L a lot, but daddy needs some new servos.:)

Need servos so I went to the LHS to see what he had and came home with another plane which I did not need. And still no servos and even less money in my pocket to buy servos.
I think I will end up with ProModler servos strong, good speed and brushless with beautiful aluminum case. And for the price that is just unbelievable. Plus I can not find anyone hoe does not like them or has had any difficulties.

Well I took a break from airplanes last night to assemble my new computer :)

Should run RealFlight 7.5 at a full 100fps with no lag :D

For the curious computer enthusiasts, here's the build:

Core I5 6500 processor, Gigabyte H110 Skylake mobo, G.SKILL 8Gb DDR4 ram, EVGA GeForce GTX 1060 3Gb graphics, Segate 1Tb HDD, Windows 10, on a brand new ASUS 21.5" LED monitor.

Don't think you short of power. Looks like quite the computer. Let us know how much better it is than your old setup. The real flight is that the new one that takes a super computer to run.

Testing some of my other graphic intensive programs (more than RF7.5) I haven't gotten it to sag yet, runs at a solid 100 frames.

The best part is I pieced this computer together with high grade components, no factory BS with bloatware on it.

Nice!! Do you have any recommendations on sources for those components?

Had some time on my hands and being retired gives you the privilege to do some things you did not have the time to do. With winters being so long my friend and decided that we should do some winter flying. So Number of days later found my old skies that I had made, needed some work but they are ready now. Found an old plane and got it ready. The last time I flew in the winter was about 20 years ago. But when putting it together all the memories came back. Longer exhaust keep alll that oil off the plane very hard to clean when it is cold. Wrap the head with cardboard for the cold. Also found the radio glove. The plane is ready will see how it goes.
