Worked on the Grasshopper tonight. She's finally on her feet! Got the wheels on and made and installed the tailwheel assembly. Also got the motor mounted up. Getting closer! Baby steps...

Damn you Chris. STOP posting these pics. That thing is so sexy it hurts!

I got another of the same kit sitting in the box on the shelf. This is one for a buddy that I did that deal of buy two kits and I will ARF one up for him and keep the other for myself. His I will actually get RTF since he has never messed with nitro stuff before. It will be getting a Super Tiger40 with a header and dollar tree can muffler.

Just go ahead and order one. You know you wanna. As the Nike commercial says "Just Do It". ;)

started stripping the covering off of the Carden 35% Cap 232 that I bought earlier this year. one wing is done, next one is going on the bench tomorrow evening, then the fuselage.

covering is brittle and coming off very easily, the wood underneath is in pretty good condition except for a few dings and small repairs so far.

just like old times in the basement, classic rock, the smell of balsa, trying not to think about those first flights!:dancing-chicken:

Your builds are fun to watch.....But I have 2 foam planes to build, 1 stick FW190 electric, my giant FW190D9, repair work on the Ulti, Cub, and some hangar rash on the P47 to fix.......I need to get all these done by the time my PAU Viper shows up!
