Robert it was a pleasure meeting you. Wish I could have spent more time with you but the "little one" had caught an infection and I was able to get back in time for the Vet to give him some antibiotics. Home now and I have been ooh and ahhing your cub. I still can't believe you parted with it for NOTHING! THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!!! As far as the Ultimate.........What Ultimate??? lol
The detail in the cub is awesome my friend. Won't take much or very long to have it doing one wheel touch and go's. I have had big cubs before but not with this much detail. Again "Thank You";) my good GSN friend :shake:

Kelly.

Well it is done the Factor 30cc is ready for another season. Will be calling my flying buddy some today to tell him that it ready for him to pick up. Well after digging through this plane I can say the following it is not great quality and that this plane is really built light. I know it fly’s well but that skinny fuselage is just the deal breaker for me setting up the radio and installing it just to difficult and painful. Everything is stacked 3 stories high. And if you need to change or adjust something on the bottom you have to remove everything above and that gets real aggravating because each layer is screwed. As you see from the picture is a plane again afte a month of cutting, gluing and covering.

Nice looking plane though. I like the colors and the scheme.

I'm not sure how many of you were able to see this but we SoCal residents were treated to a rare phenomenon early this morning: a Super Blue Blood Moon.

According to the trusty old reliable internet, this only happens once every 150 years. Guess it was worth getting up at 5:30 to see it :oblong:

From where I'm at the moon rose into the night sky like a brand new shiny silver dollar. It was so bright you could see like if it were almost day light. Great shot BTW. Thanks for posting it up.

So far today I have cleaned, gone over and through, charged, and ran the Ultimate. Pulled the GP Pitts from the shed and getting ready to do the same to it, might even get to the Sheber Pitts and Swany profile today. Man, the shed can sure add some dust and such to an airframe.

Agree with you love colour scheme and the layout but if I had to do it again it would definitely not be with Monocote first time I have used it and I don’t like it. It will be perfectly smooth one day come back the next morning and it has got wrinkles in it again .

The Marlboro Pitts has been cleaned, gone over, and ran. When I stripped and recovered it I did not do the pants as I was flying off grass, my pasture and the club, but the new field has pavement. Sooooooo...I will strip, repair, and paint the pants over the next day or so. Nothing fancy though, probably just red with a Marlboro logo on the side.
