The way the cuffs are made on this Extra you use the silicone to glue them to the fuselage, not the gear like some. So cleaning it off Ultracote was like doing surgery.

I would have been sued for malpractice then .

I am surprised that you did not rip off all the covering with the wheel pants. How did you prevent that from happening.

I used a piece of Kevlar fishing line like a saw and cut between the cuff and the covering.

Good idea. That’s how I removed all the gaudy badges from my Tacoma. Works like a charm.

Hey @Snoopy1 on a plane that size you will be fine with CA hinges just get yourself Radio South CA hinges as all others are junk after you use radio south ones once.

I've seen these hinges on the Extreme Flight website, what is the hype about these Radio South CA hinges? @Snoopy1 did you try these places;?

Always weary adding inline components as they can create another avenue for failure. This is rated for 70A to 150A within ten seconds. 70V. They had 12gauge wire pigtails on it... I changed it to 10ga like the rest of the wires in the system. Pretty excited to have useful telemetry! Consumption used is pretty sweet.

I’ve never put together a series battery connector, I’ve heard there is a right and wrong way to connect the batteries up to the ESC.... but I’m not sure how one can mess it up. Lol

This will go in a 75” Edge 540 V2, motrolfly 4330-216. Two 6S in series for 12S. My first BIG electric plane for me. Excited to start putting this bird together.
