Now for a little more progress on the Dalton. Finished up the negative pressure lip with a final coat of epoxy. Looks pretty good in my book I am also adding pictures of the finished baffling on the Dalton. Yes, it is 1/8" ply. I will be needing weight up front due to the plane being setup for a DA 200 and I am using push-pull rudder servos, Savox 1283's, which are also not light.

Glued on the LE slats and relocated the landing lights that where in the nose. I think will work much better actually shining light on the gear and side of the plane.

That's a great idea with the lights . Will have to do the same to mine.

I had the 42% version of this Edge. Thanks to a snapped prop hub in a knife edge at about 6 feet off the deck, it is no longer with me Sad sad day. That plane was an awesome flying machine. Wish they still made that scheme.

Don't you know it was a sad day indeed. I wonder if we could talk Toni @Pilot-RC in to making a V4 run of the V2 style Edge with all that CF he is now putting in the planes and that cool canopy lock system. And of course the Purple Black Gold scheme.

That is an interesting idea. I can probably understand why some people didn't like the scheme. It turned black when the sun started going down and could be a pita to see Still loved it though

Ah but the Crown Royal scheme looked so sexy just sitting on the ground or an inch of the deck in a hover. Dang, I miss mine. I think I am going to email Tony. I know in advance what he will say. But i think if a few brethren banded together, there just might be a chance he will make a limited run of the V2. I myself would take two. 100cc and a 40center. I'd sell the Sukhoi and my V2 Olympic scheme to get them if need be.

I remember that plane and yes that colour scheme is really attractive. But did I read you Wright if you did get the plane you would put 112cs 4 cylinder in it that would be exciting.

It was easy to move the lights and well worth it to me since I will be flying it a lot at night. To make it pretty smooth I used my xacto to make a little flat spot on the le of the wing and also made a slice in the fuse so I could push the wires in and the hatch still close flag.
