Looking good you have been putting in quite some time on that, keep us posted following with interest.
Finally had a few minutes after work to start removing the tape on my Yak Canopy. The directions on the canopy glue bottle states a full cure in 24 hours. I figure since it has been 48, I should be good to go. Wow... two big balls of tape removed from the canopy to hold it in place. But I'm glad I went to the extent that I did. The canopy is "WELL" attached all the way around the entire canopy frame. Once I had the canopy hold down bolts removed, it came up with no problem. Very thankful I used wax paper as a barrier between the canopy and airframe where it sits. The wax paper peeled right off and revealed an absolute perfect seal. I am so excited. After a little minor sanding of the edges to match the canopy frame perfectly, I'll do a little clean up then prep it for paint. Which reminds me. What would you guys use to prep the frame work to insure a perfectly clean surface for the paint to adhere to? Rubbing alcohol? I've always been afraid of residue. Someone once told me a high quality window cleaner works great for prepping the surface to be painted. What do you guys think? @Jetpainter have you a suggestion?

I will be recovering the forward hatch, so not too worried about the covering that had to be peeled back. Dang, I can't believe it. The Behemoth Yak is getting close to flying again.
Since I can't get my Cub chugging at the moment I "updated" my buddies DLE60 twin to run a bit stronger. Very tempted to just throw the old DLE carb on the cub motor and see if it runs and tunes fairly decent . Think I will.......CUZ I CHEAP! lol And it's a CUB. Who cares if its overly rich and burbles out the exhaust

I see you build like I do with weights right on to of the drawing. One thing building a glider not that I have but the glider boys do know how to keep things light but Evan better know how to prevent parts from twisting. Have always thought building a glider would improve my building skills.
