Maybe I should rephrase that. . . I'm not trying to paint the windows. I love those tips though!!!! Taillight tint... good idea. Love how Terry can create a beautiful one of a kind tint look, top shelf result there.

What I'm trying to do is not have too much paint soak into the balsa. Was thinking a light spray on poly or primer that would seal the balsa and prep for a nice coat of medium gray for the cockpit interior. Maybe I'm over thinking it... like every single time my brain neurons start firing off.

Use lady’s hair spray that works great. You will have to sand it a little before you pant.

I’ve always used dope to seal balsa, before covering and painting. Best step by step I’ve seen is here...

I see what you did there. Doozy ha ha! Pretty neat to look over vintage plans! Glad you like it!

It’s in the upper 70s here and we Alaskans are buying cool drinks, ice cream, and busting out the swimming trunks. All builds on hold! Ha ha ha. Man here in Alaska we don’t skimp out on a nice day. Got off from my night shift this morning and hiked up to a creek at 3am without a headlamp. Lots of critters! Just to find the fishing hole was flooded with glacier water... bummer. Nice hike though. Glad I brought a drink so I caught something. Photos taken about 4:30am
