Just out of a groove these days. Found some time today and worked on the Pilot Yak. Need to clean my shop mostly, messy is a mood killer.
Got that right. I cannot even concentrate when the shop is a mess. I cleaned it up a few times over the last couple days, my wife's friend needs to store a wood bed frame in the garage.... :cryin: I said lean it up against the workbench. However, if there is a will there is a way! and I will find a way to work around that!

Needed change so I pulled the 50cc pattern plane out off storage. Haven’t flown it for a number of years. Installed two batteries and setup the radio and proceeded to get the engine running. Everything went well except the engine it took a bit of work but did eventually start. Maybe put to much oil in it or the carburetor was dry don’t know but it is running now and ready to be flown. This will be a change for me from flying nothing but 3D planes for last 3 seasons.

I've heard good things about the Typhoon. I picked up a wing kit (sheeted and ready to cover) a few years ago but never did anything with it. It is set up for retracts though.

It is a Typhoon but not. It based of a Typhoon but much larger. Scratch built the plane and made it a little more friendly. No retracts and a gas engine 42cc. All proportions are identical just larger.

Just spent the morning cleaning up and taking stock of what I have and what I will and will not use in the future. What I did find of interest is an Ohio RC kit from Germantown, do not know if any of you gentlemen remember the small company. It was a pop and son company, closed down when the larger scale ARF became available. Found the kit and I had never opened it looked inside what a collection of wood and parts did not take it all or I will never get all back in. It is 70 inch Extra. Not my size plane right now but do you guys believe there would be some interest for the kit.

That would be like a 30cc size range correct? Is it one of their profile kits or full fuse and what all is included in the kit.
