After digging in I went ahead and replaced the valve cover gasket. Thought it was leaking but upon remove the bolts that hold the valve cover down three of the four on the passenger side where only finger tight. Prolly could have just tightened them and fixed it but I already the gasket and was already there so in it went. Now to pull the front of the motor off to replace the timing belt and water pump. Stay tuned I'm automotiving this airplane forum up LOL

Funny thing is, I was just planning on making a post similar to this.

I just bought a 2007 Mustang GT California Special. Needs a little interior work, but nothing like the 02 GT I looked at earlier in the year. I plan on changing the arm rest cover and fixing the drivers door panel insert. I think alot of it will be done over the next few months. Hope it is warmer then 16F when I do it. Also planning on powder coaring the rims flat black on a Redfire Metallic body. Already has a flat black body stripe on the door panels, "GT/CS".

Rims have some corrosion I want to do away with. The car hasnt moved in 3 months, tho.... So, may need to go thru the brakes and wheel bearings. U dont think anythi g would be wrong, as it was running and driving when it was parked.

Well gentleman just received the last few parts required to build the Viper ST kit. It took a long time to get the carbon tubes. I belive I have everything now so the build will start. Well it started yesterday day morning and is going well.

Well got the sides done and started the fuse the first part was fun but the second not so much. Installing section between the two sides was difficult to say the least. Did not break anything but came real close. Man was that a tight fit. The second picture is a small bushing I made that fits the hole for the main tube. Glued up the ring put it on the bushing and then slide the bushing into the fuse sides this guaranteed me the alignment for the wing tube this is one thing that I needed to be perfect.

Liking black wheels seems to be an age thing. I'm 54 and I'm not a fan, but younger guys love them. A friend and I were talking about that today since he's going to order a new Z06 Corvette in a few weeks. He's my age and says no black wheels for him either.
