You all are going to love this one.
Yesterday I went to fly the Eagle, all went very well with the exception being when I turned on smoke my engine would near die. I have spent all day going over, under, and through everything. Nothing is wrong!!!! After a lengthy conversation with a fellow modeling buddy it finally hit me, I was flipping the choke switch.....
So, that is what I did in my shop today and tonight.

Managed to limp out to the shop and seal up an exhaust leak (long story). Anybody interested in a set of headers and proflow cans for a DA120?

I got started on covering the turtle deck. Damn. I officially hate covering turtle decks. I was a little concerned about getting a clean border between the white and red so I taped a long piece of poster board along the line of demarcation. Then I worked the covering down all the way to and over the edge of the poster board. After I made sure the covering was stuck down good I got the little seam where it transitioned over the poster board as small as possible. Then I laid a long metal ruler op top of the covering and pinched it up against the edge of the now covered poster board edge and made a the cut with a new blade between the two. Orthobird suggested doing only one side then taking a beer break. I substituted with whiskey.
