Timber 110" Twin Build

Cut out a transport rack for the Timber. I made something similar for the Ultra Stick and have really enjoyed it. I've strapped it on an ATV rack and gone 7 miles up a mountain without issue. This allows me to carry my flight gear and plane in one trip if I need to walk over a berm and down the beach. I need to apply some clear and paint the scrap 4130 tubes I used for cross bars. After than the permanent saddle padding will go on.

Evening guys, hope all is well out there in giant scale land. Fired up the Timber build and took it out for a test spin this afternoon. I have some mixing/programming to do, damage slat bracket repair, and some odds and ends to tidy up before the maiden this week.

Milled a tiny slat tab sandwich extension to grab on to the stub left from shipping damage and epoxied on the remaining slat. I've been enjoying fine tuning the Aura 8/Spektrum setup and added a differential thrust mix:

Very cool, you should be able to flat spin like a pro.
Now you just need to make that whole assembly tilt up for some wicked VTOL
