I bought 3.25" tires.

If you go too large, you'll increase the likelyhood of nose overs associated with warbirds. If you go too little, you lose ground clearance.

You may want to consider modifying your LG mounts to create an extended angle greater than 90°. Doing so will help decrease the nose over likelyhood. That's why I chose Wingspan Retracts, already have an extended angle of 100°.

I checked, my manual has a copyright date if 1993 and indicates version 1.983. Not sure how this relates to kit versions.

Given my schedule, you are in track to pass me in the build.

Next step in to clean up the seams and run the servo wiring and retract air lines and sheet the wing. Im going to try and finish by Thanksgiving Still have so much to do and have to test run the RCV engine before I mount it in the plane.

I worked a little more on the plane today and finished assemblying the retracts and got them mounted. I am not impressed by the quality of Robart nothing seemed to fit and had to end up really improvising to get them together. Something that expensive should be better quality. I dont care if they did go under water. After that did a little sheeting.2014-09-12 16.56.22.jpg2014-09-12 16.56.31.jpgp-40-2.jpg
