Very cool, always wanted a big quad but never pulled the trigger. The sound is amazing!

I know huh? Last fall a friend of mine purchased a 38% GP Extra with a DLE 170 on it. I maidened it for him and man, my ears were bleeding by the time it was airborne. But this motor is amazingly quiet. Just a nice deep throaty growl. I don't think it is nearly as loud as some I've heard. And surprisingly, the prop is not loud either.

32x12 Biela. The 222 doesn't seem to care it's even there.

It does look like a very powerful quad. I saw a version 1 fly a 65 pound pits m-12 and was very impressed. Had no problem pulling from a hover with smoke on. Me thinks you gonna like it!

It is not "cheap" or "inexpensive" for a DLE. I give it two big thumbs up. Another "add it to my fancy desire" engine.

I'm going to try and put one in my 1/3 UPF-7 conversion from an AMR YMF-5 kit. I was set on a big 250cc+ radial, but at less then 1/3 the cost the 222 v3 is the runner up!

Not the radial sound, but it's better then a 2 banger!

Now that's cool to have. maybe sit on taxi around and mow the grass . But that many flips of the prop it would be nap time. Shoot I got tired just watching
