See post #33 for the small spring clamps. Just a quick search on Amazon for "needle nose spring clamps" shows this: http://www.amazon.com/s/ref=nb_sb_noss?url=search-alias%3Daps&field-keywords=needle%20nose%20spring%20clamps

I got mine at the local big box store and have seen them at Ace Hardware as well. Very useful!

Had some other things to work on so I lost some progress later in the day but here is where I left off. So far about 3.5 hours invested in building.

All formers have to be just slightly angled where the longeron goes through them, then the longerons are test-fit and birch ply hard-point / doublers are installed. Longerons were also cut to fit nicely up against the back side of F-1 and the front side of the final former.

I installed the formers in the bottom plate and while those were drying I installed the top engine box tri-stock and engine box top plate.

Fuse sides are test fit and ready to glue in place tomorrow. Probably another hour to get the fuselage wrapped up then I can do some testing and we'll check in with Rick on foam cutting. Later this week and this weekend I'm going to hit the canopy plug and cowl plug pretty hard to see if I can get it glassed and looking like something.

Not as much free time today but I'll do a little between other projects to get the fuse wrapped up today at least.

Fuse sides attached. Note the lack of using a flat table, plans, pins and only a couple of cuts with a saw so far. Not showing off, just showing the importance of tight joints and that these are truly quick and easy to build.

No, but I will fly one this weekend most likely!!!!

Going to be a while on this one yet, CNC foam may require a couple of test runs and I will be a hold up on the cowl for a few weeks. Rolla this weekend is starting to sound like too darn much fun so we may go down for that instead of working on the cowl.

I stopped by today to check it out and it never ceases to amaze me at how well Terryscustom creations fit together. It is a lot of fun watching and learning.
