Since it sounds like Tyler plans to have a mostly RTC airplaine after the weekend, I thought I'd get a start on the engine box area since that takes a little bit of time. I'm trying to follow my own instructions that I started back on page 20 of this thread. I had about 1 1/2 hours to play last night and it was enough time to get up to installing tri-stock. I'll get that done and install the engine box top later today:

They are car kits that you build at their own shop in AZ. They have all the tools the instructions, and helpers to guide newbies through the build.

Terry, you ever think about doing something like this? Allow first time builders to come work with you in your shop to build their first kit? You have such an amazing setup, it would be awesome to be able to learn from a master who has all the right tools.

I was talking about your video. When you first posted it, it was not working. It apparently is now. Yay!!!

Most everything is starting to show up and I am anxious to get started but..... I ordered the wing tubes from TNT as recommended for the Slick on the 26th of December but other than an email stating they received my order I have not heard anything from them on shipping and I emailed them but have not heard back. Getting worried, is there another company that sells what the plane needs I can order from?

Tyler had the same problem with his Viper tubes. Pretty much if you order wing tubes, landing gear and balsa after Thanks Giving it's always a crap shoot because building season is in full swing.

I had another hour or two at the end of the day to wrap up the front of Tylers engine box and get some sheeting ready to vacuum in the AM.

Nice Miter saw station in the background Terry. I will be building one for my miter saw here in the next month or so as I get my shop set up the way it needs to be. Wife Finally told me I couldn't keep using the entire basement as my shop so I'm getting everything into a space just shy of 400 sq ft. Never thought I would be able to get all my stuff in there but once I just thought about it I came up with a good plan that will get all my stuff in there and prolly be easier to move around than before when half the stuff was in other parts of the basement.

I know you have probably built quite a few of your Vipers and have it down to a science, but you have to got be the fastest builder I have ever seen. Just amazing work.
