Question? Which brand LiPo battery to buy?

All I can say is I have owned most of them but the one that stands out the most is the batteries from Revolectrix they are the best I have ever owned, and extremely durable and great voltage but hard to get for me. But we’ll priced.

Never heard of Revolectrix, did some digging, they seem legit! Might be worth a try based on the reviews I found and the price.

I can very highly recommend their chargers, especially the PowerLab series. And if you add a "Bump Controller" to a PowerLab charger you get all kinds of neat features.

The Bump Controller was developed by a guy in my club, it's a pretty cool add on.

I have bought them from the US store but shipping batteries from the USA to Canada is difficult and expensive so if I see them on my travels in the USA I will buy some. Great batteries and the new ones come with bump coils already built in.

I just saw it on their website yesterday. I didn't have a lot of time to look, but it sure looks interesting.

There was extensive testing done on lipos over on RC Groups. The brand that beat Gens ace, pulse and revo was Dinogy. Dinogy has the best (watts per gram) of all batteries on the market. The also have a light weight 65c as well as their best 70c which was the one they tested. The price is good too.

Great info to have. I am steering more away from the LiIons and more towards the Lipos. Going to keep my eye on all these new batteries.

Graphene batteries that are strange, not mine but other people’s batteries one person is just ecstatic about them and the other person thinks they are junk managed to get the batteries from them to have a look at them and all I can say is not great I have older standard LIPO that are just as good so for now I am not sold on them.

Time will tell with cycles. The Graphene LiPos, should be lighter, have a higher charge rate with less internal resistance. That's the fuss, but it seems other than lower IR, they have about the same specs. ie: my Pulse 3700 6S 65C is 5grams heavier than my Revo 3700 6S 70C. dimensions are a little different but the same in volume with the revo coming in a few mm less.
Soooo ya, basically the same only lower IR and might last more cycles.
