The right gimbal broke on my DX8 after about 2 years, it would no longer center itself. I'm thinking it could have been due to my extremely tight spring tension. I sold it to a friend cheap (he sent it in for repair) and I bough a DX8 which I love, I didn't set the spring tension quite so tight though.
