Xpress does a BANSHEE build...

That is heartbreaking Tanner. Really hate to see that. Smarts even more so soon after maiden. Expensive hobby we play in. But it builds character...

I lost a plane today as well. Put my Aerobeez 55 Edge in when the elevator servo decided to die in a low hover, tipped over and went in, broke the fuselage in half. Nothing compared to your loss though.

Sorry dude. From the looks of it that thing must of been going at a pretty good clip before impact? What was the last thing that happen before it happen? Just loose signal maybe?

Yeah well, it happens to even the best hardware. If he doesn't know what happen, but does know it wasn't something he did than all thats left is the hardware. :) Xpress is a good pilot Im pretty sure if he messed up he would know.

All I know is I had no control over the airplane. The receivers and a lot of the servo plugs were separated in the crash (including power plugs), and a post range-check revealed everything operating as normal.

I'll be buying another airplane, there's no way I'm going to not have one of these, it flies just ridiculously awesome :D

I pulled up to do a pop-top (this airplane spins like a top by the way...) and on the downline I went to roll out and it just kept going, somehow leveling itself out slightly before pancaking in.

It was an impressive airplane, it had zero coupling on knife edge up until a fully stalled high alpha, zero wing rock upright or inverted, required very little rudder input to maintain inverted harrier, had a ballistic roll rate, was a MONSTER on power with the DA70... Hard to resist such an airplane.

Tonight I'd like to cut open the damaged wing to see how extensive it is. All I saw was some pieces inside of the wing floating around, if none of it is structural then I'll just repair it and seal it back up- at that point I'll just need a new complete fuselage and cowl, a rudder, and a landing gear set :)

Ouchywawa man! That's pretty lame to loose a plane to quickly. :( Looks like you have a good attitude about it though
