When I redid my PAU (BME) ultimate I simply just used an oscillating sander to make holes through the sheeting and foam. Figured the savings was as good this way without all the work and possible structural compromise.

I do like what you did though.....

After a twist test with the stab and wing tube I decided to put some more bracing in. I'm happy with it now. I also made some access hatches on the bottom to get the silicone bands on the pipes and covered those with some louvers from Taildragger rc. The fuse is all done and will be getting it ready for covering.
