The club cancelled the Frozen Finger Fly for tomorrow because there is way to good a chance fingers will actually freeze.
The forecast for 9am New Years Day is for -3 with a 10mph wind so the wind chill will be brutal.

That is dam cold but be aware at those temperatures if you have touche screens they will go dark or black and if you start pushing on the screens they will fail it has happened to several people at our club. It is better to use old radios in those temperatures.

Wow, that is brutal. Maybe if you didn't have the wind chill factor? Naaa...-3 is still too cold. Lol

Interesting! Many times I've been out in sub zero weather. No problems. But that may be because I keep my radio in the truck while not flying.

I actually just got back in the toasty warm truck from burning off some electrons. The radio is fine, the foamy is cold and my thumbs are now part of my radio sticks. And this is at 32 degrees and no wind. Ugh! I'm still gonna shoot for a New Years Day shenanigans session with the foamy.

Just keep an eye on the screen if starts go dark or shady don’t touch it just let it warm up, This starts to happen at at -10 the last time it happened.
