We had a little warm spell today, before a cold front rolled in again this evening. It got up to 54F out this afternoon and totally calm winds!! I got out and flew the Viper again. That plane just keeps getting better every time I go out with it. It is super stable in harrier flight and hoovering. It also will really twist up in a tight ball on knife edge spins. I really am liking the power that DA 100L is putting out, no problems pulling up out of a hoover! Now back to the wind and cold. It is suppose to get to negative numbers on Sunday night:thumbsdown:

Sounds like exact same weather we had down here today. Got out and flew the QQ300 and my rockstar bipe. Had a blast. Tomorrow going to maiden my buddies MXSR. That front you speak of dips all the way down here but expect to see sustained temps in the middle to low 20's. Going to be a cold New Year:ugh:.

Cold New Year? Ah my friend... you're not standing close enough to a red head. Trust and believe, they will keep you warm. I know this how? Cuz it has been in the 20's (or below) for over a month now. I stay plenty warm cuddled up to my red heads. LOL. Take heart Kelly, Spring she is a comin'! I just hope I have at least five minutes to get out and do a little New Years flying.

Just enough to put it on the record books.

Me and my buddy Charlie made the window available and Charlie maiden his MXSR today :) (57 degrees and no wind to really speak of). Congrats to Charlie and to what looks to be a great flying plane. Every so often we do get a good cold spell down here but it usually does not last long. But for New Years I'm just keeping warm next to me "bestest" little buddy "The Tedster". I bet "Poptop" gets jealous of those red heads:yesss:.

BTW....His first landing went flawless with it!

If I had a had choice I would like be my cat. All it’s needs are inside the house never has to go outside and life is good and knows exactly how to control me and tells me what to do and when she needs treats. It just cannot get better than that.

Boise Valley weather forecast for today and tomorrow? Sunshine and clear skies. Oh yeah, 17 degrees with a high of 32. Ick...but I am still gonna brave it. Even if it is a little foam action....I am going flying! Old man winter ain't gonna scare me. LOL
