I also would like to say, I was wrong as wrong can get. I have always argued that one can not tell the difference between the speeds of these servos, I mean .11 versus .18 come on. My normal servo for a while now has been the Savox SC-0251MG with 222oz-in @.18 and then there is the one's I got for this bird, the SV-1270TG with 486oz-in @ .11, HV, and coreless. Holy crap can I tell a difference, those surfaces are like greased lighting. If I pull the stick full and release the surface bounces with the stick, this shi-it is sick. Sick I tell you!!!

You correct when I start trying to teach my self 3D about 1 1/2 seasons ago I also started to change my servos I actual fact to the same one you have just bought they are fast and monster you will love them I do. Just never get your finger between the servo and the arm all I can tell it bloody well hurt. And that is from first hand experience.

I did that once with the 0251's and it bloody hurt, would seem to me the 1270's would cut one's finger off....or feel like it.:cryin:

The flange and header has been brazed and bolted in, there is not enough room to run them into a Y (comfortably anyway) so this one will be a dually. The cowl outlet has been cut and cowl shimmed, I figured it was easier to shim the cowl than the engine.

Added a lip to the exit area but I don't know if I gave it enough slope to the rear. I still need to brace the exhaust and add the crankcase oil catch bottle, both of which I'll pick up in the morning when I go to get drywall. Also need to drill the prop, cut the spinner, and close up that hideous hole on the cowl. I may just get this beast out one day this week to fire it up, maybe....

As long as it is 45 degrees or more you are ok. But best of all is that you ran the lip down the sides that is the correct way to do it. I cannot belive how many times I have seen people build the deflector with out the sides they just do not realize how much of the deflector is lost because of not putting in the sides great job.

Plus when it's sitting on the ground you can hop the tail off the ground like a lowrider in East LA.;)

Yeah it's not like the old days, servos now will exactly mimic the stick movements. My buddy Tony had the habit of releasing the sticks after doing a snap. When he started flying good 3D planes with fast servos you could see the plane jump and dance as the sticks bounced to get back to center after he released them.

And then made the exhaust support. lol It's just wire wrapped around and screwed to the firewall but has worked well in other models. KISS method, right? And a little silicon will be added around the wire/pipes later for vibration.
