Woohoo! look what showed up! Purdy Tettra 20 oz tank that fits like it was supposed to go there! Terrible picture, but you get the idea. Getting closer to getting the Focus in the air. Thanks Kelly (@49dimes ) for the tanks! They are just what the doctor ordered. Fits through the precut opening in the hatch too. Woohooo!

Your most welcome Paul. Pleasure talking with you. Hope you have hundreds of pin point precision flights with your new plane.
I enjoyed YS engines for many years and it's a pleasure I could help you in a small way. Enjoy :).

Now that I have some "down" time due to technical difficulties obviously beyond my control .....

Got my foam force cornered. My scale attempt cornered. So it's time to see if I can do a transplant on an Alien o_O....

The cowl for the Sundowner is done not something I would do again with balsa sticks it was difficult and time consuming. Covering the cowl was the icing on the cake. Had 1/8 clearance between the cowl and the spinner when I started. But once all the covering was done and shrunk tight the clearance was gone. The covering when shrunk down pulled it together and then pushed the front of the cowl forward. Anyway it fits now but have learnt a valuable lesson again make cowl from solid balsa blocks or fiberglass.

Putting together a 60” edge 540 Demonstrator for a friend. The looming looks pretty good I think! What a nice plane

Looks great and fly’s great as well but having to fix the covering will be difficult or can you buy the covering from the supplier.

Well bid it to my self again. The Gaui engine that I setup for my buddy is back at my house complete with his plane. He asked me if I would install the engine into the plane. Well been looking at It for a while with a tape measure, does not look good. Will have cut the front end off of the plane to make it fit. One thing I do know it is going to be a bitch to balance but time will tell. Will put up some pictures when I get into it.
