They are looking change 336, or I should say getting rid of it. The House passed there bill Monday which is the first step, a couple more steps to go before it is final so I am trying to remain optimistic we will survive. The one thing I hang on is a while back the FAA said they have no interest in us, the chartered club flying guys, hopefully they still feel that way and will exclude us from all the regulation. We'll see.
Wow that is a serious situation for the rc community. From everything I have read about the FAA they seem to not very passionate towards the RC community. Well all we can hope for the best.

This Meme says it all to me.

Like I said it looks like they do not like the rc community, wonder why did somebody step on their toes.

Well all be....I just decided to read what acerc had to say about the AJ...and as I am about a third of the way through the thread I am thinking this looks just like a plane I saw fly and spotted for the pilot of...and right at the ed of the thread there he is at Fall Nall.

It is a beautiful plane and I can tell you, until you hear the Valach, you have no idea how sweet they sound.

A pleasure to talk with you at Nall, acerc....

Why thank you ace! My apologies if I don't remember who you were as I spoke with many and had a few spot for me, they all were great people. You got anything to remind me of whom you are?

I had three biplanes there, the two Aeroworks (the Python, my avatar, and the checkmate, red and black))and the Miles Reed Special, I had my canopy set up beside the fellows with the redneck planes youtube channel, I think you may have come down and spoke with my wife and I the day you had on the orange shirt, I recall you pointing out your camper trailer to us. If that helps you any in trying to figure out who I am. I also have a rather unusual mustache ( I am told anyways). The one day I had on a safety green shirt with timberbeast on it...which day I have no idea now, lol.
I will be there next September for sure, will make sure I look you up when I am.

Ok, now I know whom you are. I came down your way because of the Miles Reed, nice meeting you. I will most definitely do it again as that was a great time in a great place with great people.

I have never been to any rc event where all the people were so friendly and seemed to make us feel so welcome.

And I have never flown any place that was as perfect as there to fly. I struggled with the grass being so heavy on my planes as that was all new to me but that grass, is BEAUTIFUL!

It was about the best weather one could ask for, at least to me anyway as I'm use to 90's plus. Everyone I met was very friendly and welcoming. Also got to meet a few people I deal with online, real nice to put a face with the name and/or voice.

I can see if I can get a quick measurement of my 104 slick cowl width. Right now I have a da120 installed and its cap to cap width is 11.88 inches
