Ok guys need to build all the internal parts and supports for the equipment and figure out where everything goes, so that the CG works. I will skip reporting on this part of the build, I don’t believe that there will be much interest in this part of the build. Let me know if you are interested.

The arm on the throttle looks like one front DA but the one on the choke looks like nice arm but don’t know who makes it. Be nice to know who it is made by I can use couple.
Like the aluminum angle brakes to hold the cowl on wish I had seen that a couple weeks ago, lot better and easier than the wooden blocks I had to make and glue on.
Can you take a picture of the choke arm from the side please.

Thanks for the insights. I’ll grab a photo or two in the next couple of days.
Just looked through 400+ photos I’ve taken of this model, and not one shows a good view of the choke arm - go figure!
No worries - I need to pull the cowling anyway to do some minor adjustments on the throttle linkage.

Aluminum angles came with the kit and are threaded into blind nuts all the way around. 6 on the bottom half of the cowling, and 3 on the top half.
These came in handy when I decided to cover the firewall with aluminum sheet, instead of Ultracote.

Well the first time it has been assembled, at least it looks like a plane. All I can say all my other extra’s do not even look close this plane it has a big bold round fuselage. It actually looks cool if I may say so. I hate to say this the so called 10% rule ? somebody needs a new pair glasses and a better ruler.

NICE WORK!! It does look cool!

Somehow I missed the split ailerons. Those will be fun!

Paint scheme selected yet?

Yes I split the ailerons I did that to another plane and really liked it and enjoyed all the flying possibilities.
My building skills are not bad but colour schemes and what looks good I have absolutely no artistic skills. It is one area I do not do well at.

I’m not artistic, so I simply resort to finding a scheme I like and try my best to copy it.

Well the CG looks promising, I will Not need any lead to balance the plane and that is with the tank on the CG.
Baffling is done not that easy with extra cowl which is open all the way across but it is done with a little trickery.
