May not be an Edge, but who cares? I love Lasers but don't own an EF Laser in any size yet, so a 70-75 Laser would mean an instant buy for me.

In Aug of 2012 Mr. Hinson said on RCG

There will definitely be an Edge in the 70-78" range in the future, but it will be a while. We have a lot of new stuff already tested and on the production schedule.

Whoa, yeah…he's a busy young man. That's awesome that he was flying 126" airframes at twelve years old. I agree with you, this is an awesome hobby. I've only been seriously flying for 2 years. Florida must be awesome for year-round flying. I was out today and ran through 6 batts, but 18 degrees and 7-10 mph winds numbs the thumbs pretty quick. I hear ya in regards to the learning curve.

I am pretty sure the 78" MXS is the next release as Chris said it was in production. Also there is a new 110 Yak coming.

I also know that he is a tester for DA and he was the first to have a DA-70. One can only guess what the DA-35 will be put in he will get for testing.

Definitely agree on the training aspect. Get one or two airframes that you can fly the piss out of. i have my small EF MXS that I fly at my house, which I also take with me every time to the field. I also have my 50cc which I've gotten really good with. Flying one plane consistently will get you so much better. You can learn it's flying characteristics and how to fly it. That being said, I'm getting a 20cc and I would like a 60" EF plane. It's nice to have a plane in every size category but it's so unnecessary.

For me its Telink 42" epp, then 60" EF 6s planes, then 88" DA70 EF Edge and upwards upwards.

I found that having one of everything, EPP, 48", 60" 70" and upwards just became too complicated with batteries, power systems, ESC's, props, etc, etc.

Once I got to gas planes, it became more sensible to narrow things down a lot, focus on what flys the way I like to fly and the practice became a whole lot more focused.

I still love to mix it up from time to time but having less variation also means I spend less time throwing away lipos that go bad from sitting on the shelf too long.

Chris has already tested some form of the DA35 last fall. I can't figure why it is not here yet. I called months ago and asked when and the guy said "Realistically? About 6 weeks." Well that was not even close....

At this point I am leaning towards the twin 40 as people say it is so smooth. Then agin there is the age old issue of the details....$ !
