    Hangar 9 3.1M Sukhoi

So the compression springs arrived today. Cute little buggers.... I decided there is no time like the present to get the Sukhoi tail gear steering set up. I did not like the springs that were supplied with the plane and after the issues I've had with the 260, I wanted something a little more...

Tail Wheel Steering, Springs vs Fuel Tubing or other setups

Thanks.... I appreciate the comment. I can tell you right from the git go, it is already (from what I have noticed) so much more accurate and positive than any setup I have "FOUGHT" with. I tired it a little while ago with the weight of the stabs on and rolled the plane across the floor. As from...

    I hate getting F'ed on a motor

I kind of wish now that instead of upgrading my Aurora to the Aurora 9X I had just pulled the trigger on a JR 11X or the Futaba FG14..... But I had 14 rx's., the hp21 and hp22 programmers and the 9X is 4096 resolution.

    I hate getting F'ed on a motor

That's what I was thinking. I really would not have a problem with that, except it would mean a separate channel for each servo. Lets say, two per aileron, two per elevator, two per rudder... one throttle and of course ignition and smoke if you're gonna smoke it. That would mean a least a 12...

    Scale 50% Dalotel 165

The laser, first I had converted it to electric , and I loved it , better then when it had a turbo prop engine in it.  On the last flight of the season, it lost power, no problem take it back to the runway, but with the wind that day it lost forward airspeed at about 3 feet up, , so the damage...

Do the Savox servos not have the programming capabilities the Hitec's have? I was really thinking of getting some Savox for the next project. If they don't have programming, what can a guy do short of buying a match box or the like?

Anyone ever see a DA like this ?

Well it said DA on it. Who ever purchased it apparently is not up to speed on these motors. I would lay ya dollars to donuts they think DA is going to stand behind the warranty and send it in for free repairs. Ummm...... not so much.

    PHENOLIC SLEEVES FOR CARBON TUBES

For those that are experiencing the same issue, I am going to do a little tutorial that Bill helped me to realize. I was all stressed thinking I was going to have to cut mine old ones out, try..."TRY" to locate the exact replacements and then install them. With Bills help, I discovered it is so...
