Wow, that guy is one piece of work.....

Ok everyone, I am going to vent a little so please excuse me while I rant for a minute...(or three). So, I jumped over to that other site a week or so ago to grab some information on the rebuild I did on my 260. I was not allowed to continue with the process, (that is the message I got) and it...

    Hangar 9 3.1M Sukhoi

For those interested.... I stopped over to my friend Larry's today. Forwarded the two photo's I would like to use for the Sukhoi shirts. Explained what I had in mind. He is going to start working on the graphic so that I can send it to a company that actually does the specialty shirts like we...

    Muffler Info

+1-- Seen that done many times. If you have long enough inlet tubes, you could do as I did on my cans, water pump (slip joint) pliers. Pinch them babies with all you got. Pinch them right at the end. That closes them off quite nicely. And if you decided at a later time to use them in a smoke...

    Prop bolts....what's the consensus?

The actual general rule in engineering is the engagement should be equal to or greater than one times the dia. of the fastener.      But the common sense rule of thumb is two times the dia. for fasteners under load.      In our case we have load and vibration so I would never fly with 1/4" of...

    I hate getting F'ed on a motor

If it helps...I did discover the thread depth on these motors is right at 7/8". Pretty deep threads. I was able to get some 65mm length bolts and with the thickness of the PT Carbon Fiber 32x10 along with the spinner back plate and prop washer, it left me right at 3/4" of threads going into the...
