    Cool idea... Except Glow (shudder) is of a much different chemical make up than gasoline. typically glow fuel works pretty well with some things. Regular pump gas on the other hand can be quite damaging to plastic, right? Also, is the pump isolated so that fumes can not get into the electric...

Bought a brand new 6.0 volt NiCad for my new plane.... charged it once then cycled it once and took a volt reading. Looked good and went flying. Into the flight about three minutes...

    Good point and I appreciate that input. But, my decision is going to be based on other peoples experiences. I can't see why a LI-po won't do what the Li-Ion will do. And actually, they are much less expensive. Or am I under a misconception here? To get "GOOD" Li-po's that will handle the load...

    Ya know? This is all great and wonderful information. But I do have one question. That 1 to 2% of people having fires and problems.... Why is it that one of the guys I know that flies nothing but electric has issues with every battery he has? Hmmm???? LOL
