    Flight Pack Opinions

Not sure if this is the correct place to start a thread on this topic. I would like to know the opinions of everyone regarding receiver flight pack preferences. I've been considering doing things a little different than before and though I absolutely hate Li-po batteries, I really can't...

    fuel tubing size

Cool....thanks for the input. Very seriously considering putting a DLE 170 on Dave's cans or RE3's with smoke in my new Sukhoi. Just want to get it right.

    Frank Bowman Rings

For what it's worth. First experience: I purchased a brand new DLE 55 with a Bowman ring already pre-installed. From day one, it has been nothing short of amazing. Great compression, dependable. Not one single dead stick nor issue. It now has about eight gallons through it and it keeps getting...

    fuel tubing size

What size fuel tubing are you guys using for your larger twins? Talking 150cc or larger.... Such as 3W, DA, DLE, GP etc.? I did not use 1/8 on my 260 with the 157CS. I went the next size up. Is this over kill?

    throttle servo question/problem

Yikes... HS 81's are great little servos, but Nylon gear train in a big 150cc'er? I'd be pretty reluctant to give that a whirl. Also, only good for six volts. No way I can hook it up to my 7.4 systems without a regulator. And that kind of defeats the purpose of HV servos and 7.4 systems. Been...

    Roto Flow fuel tank

A couple of guys I know are also running AV gas in their planes. One of the airports is like three miles from the field. They swear by the stuff. They say their fuel lines don't harden after time like it does with regular pump gas. As an interjection, I have been keeping an eye on my fuel lines...

Good stuff for sure. Not often do we get a video of the complete "carnage incident". Not sure I would have been so calm either. Good on your friend for being so collected.:winking-thumbs-up-s

    Carnage

Got to thinking....I haven't seen any threads on crashes. I love seeing the planes in the air and all the really cool stuff everyone is doing. But I also like to see a little carnage too. So lets see 'em guys. Your "Oops's", "Uh-oh's", "dumb-thumbs", "radio failures", "Mid-airs"...let's see them...

    throttle servo question/problem

I too started using Nyrod on all my throttle linkage set ups. They seem to release some of the vibration energy that a solid rod does not. I also set my end point just shy of where my throttle stops at both ends, whether open or closed. I try to take as much stress off the servo as possible...

How many of you are running the new DA150L?

Cool...this is good info to have. I did find out that the DLE 170 is also 80mm x 90mm on the mounting plate. 3W157 and 170 the same, but different than DA and DLE. I've been so anal about whittling and carving away at my servo bays on the new Sukhoi to accommodate other servo applications, so I...
