Recovering complete!! How awesome is that!?
This blue really disappears in itself, meaning the seam lines are seamless. I cheated a lot with my otter build…. Yeah I need to finish that too…

Just need to remount the motor.
But since it’s off, Ive got a carb rebuild kit in the mail that should be here this next week. Gotta say this DLE55RA hasn’t skipped a beat, a good running motor!

Thanks Mike! Excited to get this plane airworthy again.

Decided the tailwheel could use some new plastic. Went ahead and printed my design in ABS plastic. ABS stinks, but boy is it light. Came out pretty good too!

Tailwheel is on, fit like a glove. Might need a couple new springs.

Got my carb rebuild kit in and replaced the gaskets, looked quite clean in there!

Mounted the engine and put the cowl and prop on.
Need to finish a few oddball ends and give it a good preflight.
I changed one elevator servo that burned up while holding on for dear life up the tree a while back ha ha.
I’m excited to fly this plane again. Won’t be too much longer.
