Never tried that but I understand what you’re saying about the CA. The fumes bother me too sometimes if I use a lot of it. I think the last time I needed to use a lot at once I moved the project outside. Then it didn’t seem to bother me. And wear rubber gloves and maybe a mask too.
Have you ever tried Super Phatic?

Vacuum bagging the trailing edges of the ailerons and flaps with basswood of 1/16" inside. This will leave a nice hard edge not easily damaged...

Spent some time on the cowl plug, it will take more time to get it nice and smooth before we can pull the mold.

Hi BalsaDust, I like the plane you are working on. It looks like a SpaceWalker II. Any more details? Luc

The plane I designed was originally based around the Flite Test Simple Scout. I designed a 56" version first which still needs to be built. In working with Ben Fisher from Extreme Flight he expressed interest in the plane and suggested we scale it up so thats what we did. in the process we truely made it our own by changing up the shape of the tail, new cowl design, and removing the dihedral. Attached is a rendering of how I plan to cover the plane once its built. Currently I have the fuse completely framed up. Three foster children moving into my home though has slowed down the build on it as well as working on a small glider kit with my daughter.

It looks great, and from what I can see easy to build. I lost my Mustang a week ago, and have the engine and radio looking for a replacement. What you are building might fit the bill! Luc

I'm up in the air pn this for power. It's designed around a DLE55 or DA50. Sadly without a pitts style muffler lots of the cowl would need to be cut up so i'm seriously thinking of going to a 60cc electric setup.

Ok BalsaDust have you done anything or are just looking at the drawings. Just totalled my 42cc Decathlon and maybe this plane could be a replacement. We need to talk. ?
