Scale 50cc Scratch Build From My Own Design Revisited

Yup I bleed ford blue like Mike said my whole family does. My moms daily driver is a 2014 Mustang GT with 6speed manual. I like some gm cars though. When it comes to Cameros I prefer the 67-69 or jump up to the 3rd gen body from the late 80's early 90's. Very similar in style to my fox body mustang I used to have. As long as it goes fast I like it though.

I've restored a bunch of Mustangs over the years, but I'm a GM man myself. I've had probably a dozen early Camaros and various Monte Carlos, Chevelles, Corvettes and Trans Ams. All pre 72 cars with the exception of the Trans Ams. They were 77, 78 a 79, and one of my favorites I ever owned a 70 Trans Am.

This thread is useless without pics.:big-grin:

And yet you still like Fords? :lol2: Sorry man I couldn't resist. I'm old, so I remember the time before Fox bodies where if you wanted your Ford to be fast you better have a giant wallet. In the street racing scene around here in the late 70's and early 80's there weren't many Ford's. The Fox body cars defiantly changed that.

And as for as Camaros are concerned, they haven't made a good one since 73.:D

Two of mine that I had years ago. The Blue 69 I built in 82 and the picture here is from 2 years ago. It's held up well, and the guy that bought it from me in 82 still owns it.

Both cars were Big Blocks, all hail the Big Block Chevy!

Fox bodies did so good because ford put a decent motor back in it and put a suspension under it that was easily and cheaply modded. Factory four link rear, spend about $500 in control arms, springs, and shocks and you got a killer rear suspension.

I finished getting the second wing ready to cover. All that I need to do now before I cover is put a hard point in the bottom of the rudder for the tail wheel steering. That and clean my workshop. It should have crime scene tape on the doorway since it looks like a bomb went off inside.;)

I like 'em "BIG"!
I also colored another yest scheme. I like it, but I think I like the yellow more.
I forgot to take it to work and scan it so I just took a picture of it. It didn't work that great, but you get the idea.

That would be bad ass Metalic Red and Metalic Silver with White separating the two colors. Just never been a fan of yellow. It mixes too much with big round yellow ball in the sky.:lol2:
