Yeah, it is steamy out there with a humidty of 67% all the windows in places that are air conditioned were fogged up at 7am this morning!

And our heat index is only 94!

I can't complain too bad; I've been waiting for quite a while to have these kinds of days, after our freaky spring weather. :D

Ya I hear ya on the crazy Spring we had. I'm not complaining too much either... Just wont maiden with sweat in my eye haha. I really enjoyed this last week or so, with 80* evenings its been a blast enjoying our new runway.

I can't wait to hear how this plane hucks... I have always liked how they look but have hesitated cuz I hear they are not that good post-stall. You will have to shed some light on that!

I will be sure to give a full report. I hope to have video as well, but for sure lots of pictures. Video takes some coordination with either my wife or another club member. I have positive feelings on the plane. Supposed to cool back down to 80's after Friday so things are looking good. I tried to fly (other planes) yesterday evening, but with sweat rolling it wasn't the most enjoyable haha.

We had a club cookout that involved the EAA local chapter and our club yesterday, and now today rain...lots of it..

I forgot to mention..Alan from Aerobeez suggests a CG of 4.5 to 5 inches for first flights. The manual says 5.25inches, so I will have to recheck before I take her out, as I believe I was 5.25 +ish.

bummer on the rain; looks like it is headed our way. good luck with the CG....always better to be a little nose heavy for a maiden, right?
