Not much, but I am money ahead...I did it on a card that gives me 5% cash back, so the Feds gave me my $5.00 back and I got 25 cents cash back LOL
That's awesome!!

Sadly we going backward, just got email yesterday, you will need to have both ama, and FAA #'s in your plane. ama isn't going to separate from the fpv/drone guys, they did everything they could to lump us all together. I don't see them changing now, especially after hearing Mr. hanson say that it was only a minority of ama membership that wanted to be separated from the drone/fpv crowd. If they decide that ama members are exempt from registering at all, I may re-join ama. Until all this gets settled, I will refrain from the sport. Hopefully they will just separate model aircraft and gps/fpv aircraft the way it should be. I see fpv being outlawed eventually anyways due to the fact that people won't behave. It will be a tool only allowed for the professional industry.
That's RIGHT STAND YOUR GROUND I feel the same way f emCool write Bartman, but, think of it like this. Many years ago I had to start registering my handgun, then came insurance, then came a locked cabinet, then came a lock on the trigger, then cam having to be unloaded. You get the point, today is registering of which is not in their authority to require, within ten years it could be hoops and hills and mountains. So let's go by the actual law, not sign on to their illegal maneuver, and fight tooth and nail against any further intrusion committed as an illegal act.
This will be my last response in regards to this matter. As I said prior, I will not register unless it is a requirement of my fields or an event coordinator of which I am partaking of.
Did anyone get the email from AMA today. Seems as if they may be making some ground on our behalf.
