Yup....Heck, now that I think about it...obviously I have the blue, I just realized I have white. All I need is a can of Red. Ok....I will get it ordered, finish all the prep work.... carefully wrap them and send the pants and all the paint for you to do the painting...K? I HATE TO PAINT. LOL

I don't care much for it either :) I used to enjoy it when I was painting cars, but using spray bombs I can never seem to get it right and end up to heavy. Somehow I managed to get a decent coat on the Extra gear. Must have been the cold weather outside forcing me to use light coats :)

I've given up on anything but solid color pants. With the beating they take just makes it so much easier to freshen up after the inevitable repairs. I even carry an extra set in the trailer just in case :(
For that very reason, I may just stay with the Insignia Blue only. Would look really cool tri-colored though.

Did a little work to the pants this morning. Re-shaped wheel openings and wet sanded. Now ready for first primer coat. That'll tell me once more just how much I "don't" like painting.
Lol

Ok so we're going to try this again. Man these things are hideous. Sanded, filled, sanded, wet sanded and now ready to hit the primer...again. lol

So another accomplishment. I was scared of the outcome on this one.

I HATE PAINTING. LOL... After putting on the final primer coat and letting the pants sit for a bit..... they really did look much better. I was actually pleased enough to go ahead with the next step and start making them blue.

I sprayed my border lines first, then the rest of the pants.

Once I got the first coat on, I relaxed a little. They seemed to look as though they were going to come out pretty good.

After the second coat they really looked nice and by the third and final fourth coat, they match the covering perfectly. I was actually pleased (and shocked)

they turned out real nice. I am pleased.

I still have lots of paint left, soooo..... since the bottom of the cowl does not match the covering as well as I would like it to... Yup, I am gonna re-shoot it. No sense in leaving good paint lying around right? Oh yeah, I hate painting. LOL
