Just got it hinged, beveled, and now capped. Waiting for caps to cure, then sand them flush.

The wings are ready now for a good final sanding, then, to thoroughly remove all the dust from both wings/ailerons. Then, remove the wings from the shop (take them inside the house (dining room table), and again, repeat the removal of dust (brush, tack cloth, compressed air, wipe down with alcohol), then covering can resume. Should be within 3 months now.

why wipe them down with alcohol? Maybe I am missing a step when I build??

Something wet to help take the last smallest particles, but, that will evaporate ASAP. If it is water, it can cause further swelling. Someone else suggested using mineral spirits, but I was concerned it would or could melt the foam under.

i put this bird next to the 300 ML. I was thinking that it was shorter, but I was wrong. Looks like they are both the same length.

Ailerons are covered now!! Finally!!
Nest step is the wings! Wish me luck.

You better be more specific, there are two kinds of luck. From watching the rest of the thread, i don't think it is a matter of luck, I'm sure it will turn out great.

Just finished covering the bottom of the wings. All that is needed now is to cover the top of the wings!!!
