How many of you are running the new DA150L?

Exactly, you hit the nail on the head Elie! I cannot wait to get mine in the air. I was even thinking of pulling my 170 out of my Sukhoi for now so I could put the 150 in and get some time on it.

I'm going with the 150L on my Raven build but haven't decided on cans or tuned pipe yet. I'm sure its going to be a great engine.

I just got off the phone with Jeff @ DA and ordered a set of headers. It will spend the rest of the season in the Sukhoi you see in my avatar with RE3's.

The DA150 has been a great engine (and still is) and I would get a DA150L before a 170 any day of the week. I admit I havent seen any 150L run though but I've seen quite a few 100L and they were all better than the original 100. Lighter, MUCH better throttle response and a little more powerful.

Awesome! Looking forward to see what you think.

Yes, they went to a 170 style reed block which shaved some weight off of the engine and the cylinders are cast from a lighter alloy. Those are the main two areas they reduced weight if I recall correctly. Here are a couple pictures of mine next to a 100L.

New DA 150L will be on re3's and thinking a mezjlik 32x10 LF . Any other recomendations for prop? Love 3 blades but the 32x10 seems to be the prop of choice for these engines.

Dirt, ill look at the ports when I get to the shop in a bit, but im pretty sure they are the rectangular exhaust exits .

I have zero time on this engine as of now so cant comment on performance yet. But it sure is pretty!
