Indoor Monocoupe anyone?

Got my servos today as well so did some mapping with pieces and parts.

SOMEHOW I gotta cram all that junk in a 16 inch fuselage!

So purdy. What will you power it with.

Hacker A10-12s, with a modified GWS 5x3 prop and a 2S 200 mAh 20C pack.

Going to be ridiculously overpowered as that set up should put out around 35 Watts (I want the plane to be less than 3.5 ounces) but I'll just keep the throttle pulled way back and my flight times will go through the roof.

Already having daydreams of taking these plans up to my local print shop and having them blown up to around say 110 inch span and stick a DLE 40 on it

The top of the heap scale Monocoupe build thread would be by Monocoupe himself (Nigel Tarvin) on RCSB. Wow, what a build thread. A few years old but easy to find in the scratch building thread there.

Finished the fuse sheeting tonight. Removed a piece of center stringer and will leave that little square uncovered for access to the battery.

Fin and rudder. Added the extra 1/16th sq. to create the hinge line (hinge will be blenderm tape after covering) and a piece of 1/16th sheet for a control horn block. Still haven't decided what the control horn will be but will probably lay up 2 layers of .5 oz fiberglass and cut my own.
