For reference here are my high rate surface throws (I fly IMAC style, not 3D but you'll get the point):

Ailerons: 12 degrees up/down
Elevator: 15 degrees up, 10 degrees down
Rudder: 30 degrees left/right (I only use this throw for hammerheads really)
Lol...you read my mind....again Brett. Was actually going to ask you what you were running for throws. Now I know. Thanks bro.

Just a little work on the Pitts today. Got the top of the lower left wing striped. No other striping. Just didn't feel much like cutting striping today. I also got the lower wing aileron hinges glued in.

I plan to finish the striping tomorrow and very likely start installing servos and programming the set up.

I am quickly running out of work on the Pitts. Guess I'll have to fly it soon. Oh darn. Lol

Oh, before I forget...@Wacobipe or @Maxwell1945....where do I start my cg from? Or anyone else that might know? I can pretty well guess cg on a mono plane. Completely lost on a starting point for the Pitts.

Awesome! Just did a quick visual check. It appears the suggested cg range is right where it is supposed to be. In front of the rear cabane/leading edge of lower wing. 1/2" in fact. However if I understand the drawing correctly, not even close to the 25-33% range that is depicted. But it is all cool. I now have a starting point. Thank you all so very much.

This thing is getting to be almost too pretty to fly. I'm very happy with the scheme choice. Top of upper wing striped. Have just the bottom sides of the upper and lower wings yet to finish. I've been second guessing myself on flight packs though. In the past I've used Fromeco LiIon 5200's on my bigger planes. And fully realizing I didn't need them, used the same on my 35%'s. Just hard for an old guy to trust something new when original setups have been working great. That said, original plan was twin Pulse Lipo's, 2s 3600 mah. The second guessing part is, will 2 3600 Lipos be enough? Or should I bump up to 4000's? I'm trying to save weight, but still want to be able to put 4-5 10 minute flights safely. What do you guys think? Open to suggestions.
Till then, a little beauty to warm the winter chills. Lol

in our 40% stuff we are running 2 Thunder power 3800 2s packs and I think we get 6 flights before even considering charging. Honestly I think I would be looking at 2700-3800 2s packs for the pitts.

FWIW - My 35% JTEC extra for IMAC has two (2) - 2200mAh lipos. They power everything. Lose about 0.2 volts in each pack per flight (edit - 10 minute flights). Typically make four flights and swap out batteries at 7.6± volts.

I was gonna say I'm running two 2500 mah 2S LiFe packs in my 55cc planes and put three or four 8 minute flights on it in a day. When I charge my flight packs they only take about 800mah back into each of them.
