The wing is thinner than the stab and elevators which sure makes it a challenge to say the least.Damn....not much room in that wing! Another thought would be to mount the servo to the hatch cover itself....but then that has to be re-engineered to handle the loads. Would probably require new covers and of course mounts for it.
The ones I'm installing are 400 ounce.So that is what they recommend to mount a servo in the wing for a 120cc plane. How many oz servo do they recommend for the ailerons. Do not think it is something that I would do. looking at it again how is the cover held on do not see anything to screw to.
I'll never know.The two sided tape servo install method was one of the biggest turn offs for me. Imagine that servo "walking" back and forth with excessive force? Or is it really that robust and sound?
I think the two blocks of wood will work a hole lot better than a piece of tape and foam. Nice job.I'll never know.
