I mounted up the stock tailwheel and the main gear. The stock axles are good, but I swapped out to DUBRO and swapped out the set screws in the DUBRO collars to a more robust socket head screw. I used DUBRO 4.5" TL tires instead of the stock tires. And, I set the firewall in place and mounted up the motor.
I think I could have been done with the plane tonight, but I spent most of the afternoon sanding wingtube tubes... sure wish they'd do that in China. New record for me... I'll basically have only taken one week to assemble this latest 122" Extra. I'll drop back and re-hinge it later, as these hinges will fail like they did on the last 122" Extra. If they'd fix the servo locations, control horn locations, hinges, have the wingtubes fitting right, and factory install an extension tube down the fuse... these things would be pretty easy to assemble.
