3D Restoring The Yak

I like 'em "BIG"!
So a little history on these balance stands. I knew my son and I were getting far beyond the capabilities of conventional balancers available. I made a set of these for my son and I about three years or so ago. They work pretty great for everything we've put on them. 30cc clear up to this big ass Yak. Made of 2x2 firring lumber. Ball links for pivot on top. Allowing a full range of angles. I'm afraid however anything bigger than the Yak is going to require a re-design. Lol

Is the 23" measurement from the floor up? What's the angle of the support?
I just guessed when designing them. You can make them any length. The measurement you see, is from the floor up. Not sure what the angle is. I had thought with an angle, it would clear most landing gear. So far, I haven't had any gear interfered with. You can probably make them any angle and any height.

The greatest plus of them is....dirt cheap.:yesss: I think I have a total of 3 bucks in both sets.
