Secraft Wire Tensioners

Ohio AV8TOR

Just Do It
I use the quick disconnects on the rudder end, you never know when you might need to unhook the cable. If you don't want to go that route just use the stock stuff on the rudder end and the tensioners on the servo end.

No sleeves needed, just run the wire through and tighten the set screws.
Thanks BH that is my plan and will be using the coated fishing leader as well.

Appreciate all of the feedback, thanks

IMO, you don't need to use the brass sleeves, when you crimp down the sleeves with the set screws, they become distorted in the hole and are a bear to remove if you want to re-do your pull pull wires (which you will at some point).
I have two planes that use the tensioners without sleeves and they work fine.

Yep I have been convinced that no sleeves are the way to go. Should provide a better crimp as well as long as not over tightened.

Crap! I just rebuilt the cables on my Yak, if I would have known about these, would have used them! Looks good, I will order some!

I use them on my 108" extra. it's great because I have to take the rudder off to get it in my car
