is it a metal roll-up door? I've seen people buy sheets of the foil-backed, rigid foam insulation and cut it to fit into the individual panels.

Its a normal garage door with inset panels so I can do pretty much anything. Panel dimension s are 18h x 56w

-One half the shop is wired.
-Rv plug is in and working
-Light plugs are up and a couple up. The are on 2 circuits.
Compressor plug in
4 HD plugs on own circuit for power tools.

Question on ac units at 220. How do you know if a window unit can run on it?

If you are buying a new unit, it will say on the box. If you are buying used one, just look at the plug.
As a rule of thumb, most units 12,000 BTU and under are 110V. 18'000 BTU and up are almost always 220V.
